Party games are a great thing. They are a perfect pastime, the ideal icebreaker, and a guarantee that when the mood is low, it will likely improve after playing a party game like sevens. This drinking game without cards can be played spontaneously and requires no planning in advance. Gather some friends, alcohol and follow the rules below to get started.

Seven Drinking Game Rules

Before we describe the gameplay for seven, we would like to briefly explain the rules. As the name suggests, this game is all about numbers. The difficulty lies in the fact that certain numbers cannot be pronounced. Instead, they have to be replaced by the word "schnapps". These include:

How to Play Sevens Drinking Game

Playing sevens drinking game is very simple, or you'd think, but once you consider the rules above this game gets very challenging quickly. The goal of the game is to count to 100 and begins with the first person saying "1" then the next person says "2" and so on. You can count over 100 if you want but know that this game gets very challenging even for math freaks when you account for all the rules like numbers that add together to make 7 and are divisible by 7, so we normally stick to a limit of 100.

If it is your turn and one of the rules apply you have to make sure to say "schnapps" instead of 7 or the number, otherwise you must drink - if you have schnapps then take drink of that. Once you are done drinking then the next player continues the count from where you messed up. However, house rules can change this so that when anyone messes up the game starts from 1 again, decide this beforehand.

The best part about playing the sevens drinking game is that you don't need any extra materials like cards or anything so you can play it whenever! Check out some of our other fun drinking games without cards.

How to Play Roxanne Drinking Game – Rules

Nothing quite like a musical drinking game.

Get your drinks ready and play Roxanne by The Police on a computer, phone, tablet, or wherever you can. Every time you hear “Roxanne” everyone has to drink. A simple game with a high drinking factor.

How to Play Baseball Drinking Game – Setup

Set up the four shot glasses on the other end of the table in a row so that it forms a line going away from you (the home base where you will be shooting from across the table). Each player on the visiting team takes turns shooting the quarter at the shot glasses. The first glass represents a single, the second a double, the third a triple, and the last a home run. Three strikes (misses of all shot glasses) and you are out. Three outs and the other team is up to bat.

Game Rules

The game follows as regular baseball and runs are scored in the same way (except that you have to keep track of the runners on base in your head). Drinking happens in the following manner:

  • Fill the shot glasses with beer.
  • If a player makes the quarter into a shot glass (gets a hit), they must drink the contents of the shot glasses behind the one they made.

For example, if they hits a single, they must drink the remaining three shot glasses full of beer. If they hits a triple, they only have to drink one. If they gets an out, they must drink all four.

  • The opposite team must drink for each run the other team scores.

This game is pretty simple but lots of fun (and lots of drinks)!

Setup for Beeramid Drinking Game

Beeramid (rhymes with pyramid, go figga) is a game that involves a tremendous amount of drinking.

A Beeramid (pyramid) of cards is constructed by placing a certain number of cards face down in a row (usually five depending on the number of people) as the base and building up with each level having one less card until there is one card as the top of the Beeramid. The remaining cards are distributed as evenly as possible among the players and kept hidden from other players. Before the game begins every player is allowed to look over their own cards and organize them any way they like, afterward the cards are kept face down in a horizontal line in front of the player and they are not allowed to look at them again once the game begins. Allow some time for players to set this up before starting the game.

For the beeramid we recommend:

Beeramid Game Rules

The dealer turns over the first card at the base of the beeramid and calls out the card value. Anyone who claims to have that card may give out one drink. The person called out may either drink or call the bluff by saying “bullshit”. If the first person has the card after all, they must pick the card and the victim drinks twice the amount. If the first player doesn’t have the card or picks up a wrong card from their face down cards, the first player drinks twice.

Once a row of the Beeramid is completed, the first card on the next row is drawn, and every card now has the same value as its row. Each person with a card on the second row can give two drinks, on the third row three drinks, all the way up to the fifth (or the last) row. All bullshit calls double the value of the row, of course, making them risky propositions as time goes on.

If someone has more than one of a card (say a five is drawn and someone has two fives in their face down cards) they can give both fives to the same person or split them up. They need to show both cards if bullshit is called.

In the fifth row (or last row), if people are taking honest drinks, a bullshit call should result in about a full beer consumption by somebody. For this purpose, we usually buy a bottle or two of a heinous-tasting beer (your choice) to serve as the “Penalty Beer”. Anyone losing a bullshit challenge on the final row must finish the Penalty Beer without taking it away from their lips…

This game has a surprisingly high intoxication factor, especially if played with more than five levels.

How to Play Civil War Drinking Game – Rules

This game is sure to shake things up at parties. Every good party has a group of fun people with creative ideas. Every party usually has at least one type of drinking game going on. Either it is beer pong, flip cup, or kings. Well, here is a game that is in a way like beer pong, but gets your heart racing and blood pumping. It is called civil war.

Civil war is a game like beer pong, but it is a 3 vs. 3. Begin by setting up the table with each player getting two cups on their team’s side. Make sure you have 3 pong balls to play with for this game. Next, you fill the cups halfway with beer then flip a coin to see which side of the table starts with all three balls. The winners of the toss start the game off. With the two cups, each player essentially has two lives to stay in the game. Once one of the player’s 2 cups are gone they have to go sit down as they are eliminated. For this game there are no lines in which you can not go for a ball, if a ball is on the floor it is free game. Also, there is no order or turns being taken during this game. When you have a ball you shoot the ball. It is very crazy at first but this game works great if you want to get buzzed early because it gets your blood pumping while you are drinking.

I hope that you have enjoyed this new idea for a drinking game. It is a fun and simple creative idea for any party that wants to be a little different. I hope that you all have a smashing good time playing Civil War.

Bus Driver Drinking Game Rules

The game begins with cards being dealt and players are not allowed to look at their cards yet. The dealer hands out one card at a time to each player until everyone has a total of 4 cards each. Before they are allowed to see the cards, each player has to guess certain things. With every correct answer the player can give out drinks to others, but with every wrong answer they must drink themselves.

1st round (1 sip)
Before the first card is flipped over every player has to answer whether the color will be “black or red” then flip over their first card. If they guess right then they give out one sip to another player, if wrong they take a drink.

2nd Round (2 sips)
Once everyone has one card flipped over we move to the next question – higher or lower. Each player now has to guess whether the next card they flip over will be higher or lower than their first card. They give out two sips if they guessed correctly, take two sips if they guessed wrong or the card was the same number/value as the first card.

For example, if you flipped over a 7 for the first round you must now guess whether the next card flipped over will be higher or lower than 7.

3rd Round (3 sips)
Inside or outside – after each player has two cards flipped over they must now guess if the value of their third card will be inside or outside of their first two cards. If the player gets a card that has the same value as either of their first two cards then it is counted as inside. They get to give out three sips if they guessed correctly, take three sips if they guessed wrong.

For example, the first card was a 7 and the second card was a 10 so if the player guesses that the third card is inside and the third card ends up being an 8 they guessed correctly. If they guessed inside and get a 7 or 10 they are still correct, but if they guessed outside then they drink.

4th Round (4 sips)
For the last round/card each player has to guess whether it will be a spade, heart, diamond or club. They get to give out four sips if guessed correctly, take four sips if guessed wrong.

Determining who will be the bus driver
After everyone has four cards flipped over we will determine who will be the bus driver. Begin by placing two rows of cards face down with four cards in each row and determine which row will be for taking drinks and which will be for giving out drinks. Now flip over one card at a time from the right side beginning with either the take or give row, after two cards are flipped over from both rows move to the next cards. Players must drop their cards if they match a card being flipped over from the row. The goal of this part is to get rid of as many cards as possible. The first two cards from each row are a sip each, the second two cards from each row are two sips each, and so on… After all the cards in the rows are flipped over whoever has the most cards left is the bus driver.

Setting Up for Kings Cup Drinking Game

Before the game begins, place the King’s Cup (a big empty cup) in the middle of the table. Shuffle the deck of cards then place them around the king’s cup in a circle facedown. One person begins the game by flipping over any card. Each card has a different rule attached to it and the rule must be followed before the next person can flip their card. According to house rules, the game ends when either the king’s cup has been consumed or the last card has been drawn.

Kings Cup Rules

(Same rules for all suites, we just used Hearts for illustration purposes)

Waterfall – everyone puts their drink to their lips and waits for the person who picked up this card to start drinking. Once that person starts drinking then everyone begins chugging their drink. The person who started can stop whenever they want then the next person (clockwise) has the same option to continue drinking or stop, and so on until the last player

The classic “you” – pick anyone in the game to drink

Me – the person who picked up this card has to drink for three seconds

Four for whores – all the ladies have to drink

Jive – whoever picked this card has to bust a dance move then the next person has to add onto it and so on until someone messes up and they have to drink

Dicks – all the guys have to drink

Heaven – Everyone has to point to the sky and the last person to do so has to drink

Mate – whoever picked this card gets to choose one person that has to drink every time they do

Bust a rhyme – the person who picked this card has to say a word and the next person has to try to rhyme with it. This goes on until someone cannot think of a word that rhymes

Category – the person who picked this card chooses a category. The next person has to say something that is relevant to the category that the first person picked and this goes around until someone cannot think of something. A good example is sex positions

Thumb Master – the person who picked this card is now the thumb master. Until somebody else gets a jack, this person can put their thumb anywhere on their forehead at any time and the last person to do the same has to drink

Question Master – whoever picked this card is the question master. Until somebody else picks a queen – they can ask any question and if someone answers them they have to drink

Make a rule – the person who picked this card can make any one rule and it has to be followed until someone else gets a king. Whoever breaks the rule has to drink. The first three people to get a king must pour their drinks into the cup in the middle. The last person to get a king has to pour their drink into the cup but also drink the whole cup.

How to Play Beer Pong – Setting it Up

people playing beer pong indoor party

Place 6 plastic cups on each end of the table in a pyramid shape as seen in the above image with the base towards you and the tip facing the enemy player/team, you can use more cups if you want to increase the drinking factor. Fill your cups with your alcohol (normally beer) up to the line inside the cup, or about 30-35%.

If you are playing in teams of two then each player gets 3 cups out of the 6 so when your 3 cups get sunk you drink and if your partner's cups get sunk then they drink. You can decide on how to do the split, the easiest way is one person gets the diagonal line and the other player gets the mini pyramid left. Alternatively, you can both drink for each cup that gets sunk - whatever floats your boat.

Fill the bucket with water if you have it, this bucket will be used to clean the balls before players shoot – this step is optional.

GOLDGE Beer Pong Table Mat

This beer pong table mat set comes complete with 30 plastic cups (15 red and 15 blue) and 8 ping pong balls, making it ideal for various drinking games, including Beer Pong, Flip Cup, and Quarters. Get ready for a fun-filled experience!

Beer Pong Game Rules

Deciding Who Goes First

The team to shoot first is decided by a successful shot. You must shoot at the same time as the opposite team’s player while maintaining eye contact with them, and the one to sink it gets first shot (no points are gained for this shot). If both players sink a ball then you continue to shoot until one misses or a tie is broken.

Playing Beer Pong

Your job is to sink all of the opposing team’s cups before they sink yours. Shots are taken by both players on one team before the opposing team gets a chance to shoot and the sunken cups must be picked up and drank right away. There are a few rules when playing:

Players should alternate who drinks what cup. For example, you drink the first cup that is sunk and your partner drinks the second then you drink the third and your partner drinks the fourth. If a player misses the table when shooting they lose their next turn, however if nobody calls them out before they shoot in their next turn than it counts as a real shot.

When you get down to four cups rearrange them into a diamond as such:

Four red solo cups illustration in diamond pattern

If team A sinks team B’s last cup then team B gets to shoot a redemption shot, if there are two players per team then both players get one redemption shot, and if they manage to sink the ball then the game continues normally and the last cup is left on the table for team B. If team A sinks another ball after the redemption shots then the game is over and team A wins.

How to Play Most Likely To Drinking Game – Rules

The game begins when everyone has a drink and one player begins by asking a question, such as “Most likely to pass out on the toilet seat?”. Everyone points at one person they think would best fit the answer to that question. You have to drink one second for every person pointing at you, you can obviously increase the number of seconds if you’re looking to get shit faced, so if five people point at you then you have to drink five seconds or whatever you all decided before the game started.

Jenga Drinking Game Rules

A simple adaptation of the skill game with wooden blocks. This Jenga drinking game has a twist though: if you cause the tower to topple, you must finish your drink. The same regular Jenga rules apply with regards to how you can pick the blocks and whatnot.

How to Play Drunk Jenga

Using the sharpie write down rules on various blocks so when the person removes that block they or everyone (based on the rule) have to follow/perform what the block said. You can make this a team effort with people writing various rules. Here are some ideas for drunk Jenga:

You can get very creative with these rules, just hope that your not the one who picks that crazy block! Remember, the person who knocks down the tower has to finish their drink and set up the tower again.
